Social Media Assistant

This is a part-time, short term job. $13.05/hour

Only students (any UH campus) are eligible to apply.

Qualifications Required*
Extensive experience designing social media campaigns, particularly on Instagram
Extensive experience working with Canva
Extensive experience doing independent research
Ability to work independently
Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Students with experience in environmental protection encouraged to apply.
Students with experience in social media campaigns encouraged to apply.
Students with experience with awareness of social justice issues (demilitarization, decolonization, intersectional oppression) encouraged to apply.
Students able to read and write in the following languages encouraged to apply: Japanese, Korean, Tagalog, Hawaiian, CHamorro, Spanish.
Narrative of Duties*
– Under direction of supervisor, gather information from individuals working on water protection campaigns in Korea, Philippines, Guam, Puerto Rico, Okinawa, and other sites
– Upload information to Canva.com or similar marketing program
– Design social media campaign for International Women’s Day (March 8) and International Water Day (March 22)
– Organize campus Zoom event to promote the campaign and women water protectors in the region (date TBD)
