About The Event

ACM student Kayli Pascal-Martinez, submitted her short film to HIFF and it was chosen for the student showcase! She made this film for our class, CM 152, Principals of Video Editing with Samantha Farinella. This poetic-experimental piece captures the idea of someone being a melting pot of different ethnicities that have dealt with their own struggles in past and present. The presence of each family member showcases snippets of what’s running through their veins and the significance of knowing where they came from and where it leaves us.
