Kaua’i CC Students and Digital Media professionals, join us this Friday (Oct. 6) in the ART2 building from 11:00 a.m. – Noon to meet visiting Producer/Director Pete Berg!

Mr. Berg has been on-island since the beginning of June recording a TV series about a local farm veterinarian: “The Adventures of Dr. Buckey Bottoms, Traveling Veterinarian”. The program will air on National Geographic Wild. During this informative session, Mr. Berg will talk about his role as Field Producer/Director and will offer tips on getting started in the industry. Everyone is welcome!

The Creative Media Consortium is a collaborative effort that connects Kaua’i CC students who have demonstrated industry benchmark skills with industry professionals in Graphic Design, Still Photography, Animation and Digital Cinematography. Each Friday from 11 a.m. – Noon, the Consortium meets in the ART2 building.

Student members of the Consortium are evaluated by industry experts who verify each student’s ability to perform specific benchmark skills. In January 2018, prospective clients will be invited to complete an Online Project Request Form that will be posted on the new Creative Media Consortium website. Students who have the appropriate skills will be matched with projects.
