Directing a Movie: A Creative Hokey-Pokey

What goes into pushing movie projects forward? A finished movie sis the culmination of its evolution, some things planned but most not. Through examples and stories of the process Kevin will demonstrate that creativity is anything and everything except a straight path. And…Be on the alert for the rewards along the way.

Kevin Johnson has more than twenty years experience in the animation industry. He has just finished directing, Trouble, an animated feature film due out this year. He is currently Supervising Director on the Curious George franchise for Universal. Besides directing, he has worked as Head of Story, Creative Consultant, Animator, and Storyboard Artist. Other films he has worked on include: The Iron Giant, Astro Boy, Open Season, Everyoneʻs Hero, and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked.
