Artist, lecturer, curator, editor of photography books. Using photography, found pictures, archives, audio and video he creates installations that reflect his interest and exploration in notions of memory and the relationship between person and personal place.

His works have been exhibited in many European countries. He also curated various photography exhibitions. In 2008-2013 he collaborated with the Photo Proxima research project carried out by the Ethnographic Museum in Cracow in co-operation with the Fratelli Alinari Museum Photography, studying private collections of family photographs.

Previously was employed with Polish newspaper (1993–1996) subsequently freelancing and publishing his stories in major Polish weeklies. In 2007–2008 he was Deputy Art Director at the Photo Month in Cracow. In 2006-2010 chairman of Imago Mundi Foundation. Artistic Director at EHCC/HMoCA in Hilo since 2016. He lectures on photography at Hawai’i Community Collage and University of Hawaii in Hilo.
