This position is located at MCB HAWAII – MCCS Marketing and Human Resources. Candidates selected for this position will serve as a SOCIAL MEDIA RECRUITING ADMINISTRATOR (OFFICE AUTOMATION CLERK) NF1 FLEX.


Under the direct supervision of the Marketing Specialist/Account Executive (NF-04), Marketing Branch, the incumbent creates, posts, and administers jobs through social media content in support of organizational hiring efforts. Responsibilities included tracking of data analytics, answering questions regarding the automated application process, and ensures applicant files are routed to the vacant job posting(s). In partnership with the Human Resources Branch, the incumbent will provide additional support to the Recruiting Team by posting jobs to current and new job boards, ensuring key vacant jobs are identified and posted timely, following up with the recruiters on applicant status, and understanding the entire recruiting to include the criminal history and local records checks process in order to provide support to the recruiters and applicants.

Operates various common office equipment to include copier, shredder, and postage meter. May be required to receive telephone calls, assist customers, file routine documents, compile data and perform other market research tasks.

Provides meaningful connections through customer service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Acknowledges customers, smiles and makes eye contact. Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.

Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Uses required safety equipment, and observes safe work procedures. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.

This position may be eligible for telework when required.

Performs other related duties as assigned.


Six months current experience operating on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram). Six months experience in human resources, with special emphasis on recruiting and staffing is highly preferred. Strong writing and communication skills are required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.
