Previous to his current position at UH, Todd worked at NYU’s Kanbar Institute of Film & TV as their Television Studio Manager, in the Post-Production Center teaching students how to edit using Avid Media Composer, and at the Todman Center supervising soundstage operation. Recently, Todd worked at Uncommon Schools, a K-12 charter school, in the Data/IT department and in professional education at Johnson & Johnson. He also worked for several years at Apple Inc. training their technical support staff.

Todd wrote & directed a feature film that was internationally distributed on DVD. He was selected as a finalist in the Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab, as well as a directing semi-finalist in Miramax’s Project Greenlight, and a quarter-finalist in the Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. He received a BFA in Film & TV Production from Chapman University and a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University.
